This Privacy Policy explains how BAVARLAND AUTO REPAIRING GARAGE L.L.C ("BavarLand", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you contact us through WhatsApp or use our website bavarland.ae.

We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and applicable regulations.

2. Data we collect through WhatsApp

When you send us a message on WhatsApp, we receive and process the following through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.:

We do not receive your WhatsApp account password, your contact list, or any messages you exchange with other parties.

3. Data we collect through our website

When you visit bavarland.ae we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, and any details you voluntarily submit through contact or booking forms.

4. Why we process your data

to respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
to prepare quotations, schedule service appointments and process orders;
to inform you about the status of your vehicle service or order;
to keep records required for warranty, accounting and legal compliance;
to improve the quality of our services.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given when you initiate contact with us, and the performance of a contract for the services you request. We do not send marketing messages without your separate consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

Meta Platforms, Inc. — as the operator of the WhatsApp Business Platform through which messages are transmitted. Meta processes this data under its own WhatsApp Privacy Policy;
service providers that host our systems or provide technical support, bound by confidentiality obligations;
public authorities, where disclosure is required by UAE law.

6. Storage and retention

Message data is stored on secured systems with access limited to authorised employees. We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and in any case no longer than five (5) years from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including encrypted transmission, restricted access rights and regular review of our systems.

8. Your rights

Under the UAE PDPL you have the right to:

request access to the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
request deletion of your data;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent at any time;
lodge a complaint with the competent UAE data protection authority.

9. How to request deletion of your data

To have your personal data deleted from our systems:

send an email to info@bavarland.ae with the subject line Data deletion request, or send us a WhatsApp message containing the words DELETE MY DATA;
state the phone number you used to contact us, so that we can locate your records;
we verify the request and delete the data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, invoices kept for tax purposes).

We confirm completion of the deletion by email or WhatsApp.

10. Children

Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18 years of age.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the revision date shown at the top.
